Through our experience and partnerships with educational content publishers we are able to a users content experience is maximised and network performance is optimised whilst low usage points are fully utilised.

Content is pre-positioned to the nearest cache to a user based on individual, school and LA content profiles. By understanding which free, cultural and commercial subscription content users have access to we are able to ensure the content users are likely require is delivered as close to them as possible in advance of them need to access it.

I2Q provide a range of standards (Shibboleth) and proprietary (ContentStream) Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions. This enables learners to access a range of content and applications using a single username and password, reducing administration and reducing barriers to learning opportunities. SSO can be fully integrated with the CacheStream CDN and URL filtering to ensure an e-safe and accessible end-to-end content experience.

The take up of online and increasing rich and interactive multimedia content is growing. Using a CDN can greatly increase a user's perception of the content experience by ensuring page load times are reduced and disruption to lessons are minimised. Further, by using intelligent profiling of content (when and where content is pulled down from) and intelligent queuing of requests for content updates, CacheStream ensure your network is optimised for content access during high usage points and fully utilised at low usage points.

CacheStream is a software solution and therefore does not require that you buy specific caching hardware from us (although we are able to supply caching hardware if required). We take a cache vendor agnostic approach which ensures existing infrastructure investments can be leveraged without requiring wholesale refresh.
