History

i2Q NewMedia was originally set up in 1998 as Questions Internet & Information Services (QIIS) in response to the challenges of the NGFL agenda.

Originally part of the Questions Media Group, QIIS married the expertise of Questions Publishing in providing professional practice support for teachers with a core understanding of technology in the classroom and world class technology skills to provide the market leading Grid for Learning solution to LEA's. QIIS was taken over by i2Q in December 2002 as the senior management team saw the opportunity to focus i2Q's technology on providing enhanced functionality and support for our clients.

2006 saw the acquisition of i2Q by it's now parent company, Synetrix Holdings Limited, enabling Synetrix to add a further level of expertise to the organisation, providing a complete end-to-end capability from infrastructure and connectivity, through to desktop application delivery, to ensure that new technology is part of a holistic package that can successfully affect improvement and transformation in an organisation.
