MIS Integration
Through web parts the MLG is able to integrate directly with your MIS system allowing teachers and parents personal views of important learning information such as assessment and attendance data. MLG also allows teachers to set assignments to students which can be auto-marked and reported back to MIS systems.
Office Integration
To enable users to fully grasp the power of SharePoint with minimum training, Windows SharePoint services offer full integration with the Office 2003 suite. Microsoft Office 2003 is closely integrated with SharePoint Services allowing many of the menu commands and task panes in Office 2003 applications to take advantage of the document storage and management features of Windows SharePoint Services.
