The Ben Johnson School in Tower Hamlets recently experienced a complete loss of a computer holding SIMS and other critical data used daily by staff and pupils.
With their previous backup system it would have taken the school up to a week to recover the data from tape based systems, costing the school essential time, money and potentially reputation.
Fortunately, the school was using the Synetrix Service from the Local Education Authority. As soon as the issue with the computer was reported, a recovery was started and the school was upand running again with access to their data in less than 24 hours.
