i2Q has been providing integrated access to, and delivery of, educational content since the inception of the Curriculum Online initiative. As we are neither content producers nor publishers, we are able to form effective partnerships to the content industry, supplying a route to market and a range of services to enable the effective delivery of ever richer multimedia content over the web and NEN. We are also not tied to any particular VLE, MLE or course management system. This enables us to bridge the gap between publishers and learning application end users. In effect we provide honest brokerage of content both on a technical, transactional and commercial level.

Our innovative middleware solutions enable end users to gain access, whether via dedicated applications or through integration with VLE and Learning Platforms, to content based on subscription profiles and under secure SSO. In essence we ensure consumers have the ability to find and access all the content assets available to them whether commercial free or cultural. This ensures our platform partners have a viable long term content strategy without the overhead of holding relationships with and integrating multiple publishers' content.

Integration with local network and caching infrastructures takes this to the next level by ensuring we pre-position content as close to the end user as possible, based on their subscription profile, to ensure minimal technology disruption to the business of teaching and learning.
